I believe it is going to date to the mid 1960's. Nice knife.

Is that a Heisser made sheath?

Too late for a Heiser sheath. The last H. H. Heiser sheaths had brown snaps with the Randall logo on them. The next sheaths were made by Johnson and had nickel plated snaps.
