I see "SRS check" thrown around, but don't know what SRS stands for, sorry. This may be what I'm asking for?
I have an '03 Springfield barreled action S/N 1447443 w/barrel stamped SA 4-32 and if the flaming bomb was there, it has long since worn off. There is the alignment notch for the '03-A1 rear folding leaf sight. It has a NS bolt and is D&T for Lyman 48.
Questions:
What configuration was rifle built and/or sold as?
Is barrel date correct for that S/N? If not, what would be?
Is NS bolt correct for S/N?
Only wondering because of NS bolt and mounting of Lyman 48. There is neither a star gauge on muzzle nor the underside of the barrel and it obviously fitted for military spec at some point. Don't know if barrel is original to the action. S/N is not electro-penciled on the underside of the bolt. Any information is helpful and not sure how much is available. Thanks!
