CMP SA FG 1.9 mil rifle shooter

What would be a fair price for a field grade CMP 1.94mil rifle with nothing special about it.
I know it is very accurate but not one for a pageant.

"$630 Delivery time 3-6 months from placing order" This is from the CMP's website. You have to determine whether or not it is a fair price and go from there.

Garands in my area gun shops have price tags of $1000 on up. They are not selling like hot cakes! I would try $800-900.

Thanks guys. I figured a fair price might be around 800 considering my cost back when from CMP and replacement of some worn parts to get it feeding properly.
It was an FG rifle but, like I said initially, it is a very accurate rifle. I'll probably continue to hold this one for my shooter.
A friend who ran across an old DCM rifle 2.6 mil. (SA/GAW/cross cannons, etc.) still immaculate and got it for a song wants one he can shoot.
The one he found had NO wear on anything so I suggested he put it away for retirement and find a shooter.
I think I'll show him two HRA SG rifles instead of the FG one I like. I believe he has the initial signs of Garanditis which will only get worse once he fires one.
