This came with a very nice UFH M1. I've never seen one so marked. The construction is by all accounts USGI. The throat is marked US M7. There is an odd character in the body below the throat, both front and back. It has been suggested that it may be Taiwan in origin. I have no clue. Thoughts? First of these that I've seen. Are they uncommon?

Seems that this is a hermaphrodite. The body is marked with a character associated with Taiwan manufacture, but the US M7 marked metal is Greek and the scabbard as a whole is considered Greek.

This is a scabbard that was manufactured in Taiwan. Many of the M1 bayonets that came back from Greece a few years ago were in these scabbards.
