Thinning my herd and it's time this goes to someone else .

This is a box of 100 new Union Hardware 15 round magazines . It was removed by myself from a multi-layered package . I don't recall the number of package layers , but one had been added every few years in storage . It wass not until the last wrap was removed that I discovered what I had . Please note that the box was unopened by me . When the last wrap was removed , the glue holding the bottom flaps shut popped open on thier own . Note that the taped edges and flaps are still intact . I have removed the " Qualifier " mag ( one per box ) and took it's photo . I also unwraped ONE mag whoes wrapping was loose and took photos of it . Being the loosest wrapped mag closest to the failed seal , I would figure it is the worst of all 100 . It looks and is brand new .

Now , the big question is ....what is this worth ? I have no idea , but I think the forum rules state that a price must be given . I see that $25 per mag for NIW is fairly common , so I'm going to go with that .
I'm asking $2500 . I am open to offers.

First I'll take it post here will get it .

Thanks , Chris

I can see collecting different makers on the magazines but not 100 of the same maker. Still, a nice item to have but not for some of us old farts who are trying to down-size.

Only a dealer would be interested, I think and there is no margin for him.

I was thinking to more of a high end collector , myself .
I mean , how many of these boxes have survived after 70+ years ?
I'd hate for it to go to a dealer and be broken up and scattered to the four winds .
I'd never let it go so cheep that that would happen .

Not a lot of people collect magazines now. More use them for shooting and with the new ones coming in from South Korea which work just like the originals at less then half the price the need for new USGI magazines is not as strong as it used to be.
