Up for sale is an incredibly preserved Rock Island Arsenal 1903. Included with the rifle is an excellent condition WWI era 1907 sling that is supple and strong. Also included are Two Model 1916 cleaning rods. One is a sectional rod to be used in the field and the other is a solid one piece rod that was to be used in the barracks. There is also included a minty nickel plated oiler of the earliest type. Also included is a Mint, unused U.S. Musketry Rule Model Of 1918 in the original box, photos of which are now posted below.
This rifle has a Minty bore like all of our rifles.
The price for this rifle is $2,500.00
Along with the price of the rifle, the buyer will also have to pay $50.00 for shipping, $47.00 for Insurance, $20.00 for Two cardboard boxes that I will use to make One box, $7.00 for Two bags of Styrofoam Peanuts for packing and $50.00 for a new hard shell rifle case with padding for a TOTAL of $174.00.
So, the buyer will be paying a total of $2,674.00 for everything.
The rifle will be sent by UPS.
Please click on the Link Below to the thread that was done on the rifle some time back that includes all of the photos of it. Please read everything in the thread so that you will know what the experts have to say about it.
The rifle was a birthday gift to me from my wife so ownership of the rifle is in her name and so it will be recorded as being sent by her to whatever FFL dealer the buyer wishes it sent to.
We've no problem with using Paypal, but we don't want to have to pay the buyers fee to Paypal. If a buyer would click on the "Money to Friends and Family" category to make a payment, nothing will be charged for the transaction by Paypal. We will also and would rather accept Postal Money Orders or a Bank Cashiers Check.

Along with a $200.00 price reduction, I'm also adding another neat item to the group being sold. It is a Mint, unused, in the original box, Musketry Rule Model Of 1918. There are original instructions folded up in the box that explain how to use this device.
This is a neat item from 98 years ago. This device is calibrated out to a range of 5,000 Yds.
It's of enameled brass . Never used or issued a Century ago after it was made. Just stored away until now.
