A friend has this pistol he wants to sell to me. It is in excellent condition, has 2 magazines, original hard case and custom cocobolo grips and also original grips. He wants $500. Is this a fair price?
Thank you
Do you mean 659, the stainless version of the 59? If so $500 is about average. If you were a shopper for such then you could find it cheaper but since you mention that it is coming from a friend then.......

It's the blued model 9mm.
???? Never heard of a 959.

The blued steel frame model is either the M539 or M559. They are fairly rare, I would buy one if I saw it.
Very nice guns that usually go begging. If you like an older school all metal gun you'll probably enjoy it. These usually have a magazine disconnect. If you don't like that it can be fixed easily. $500.00 is a very fair price in my opinion.
