I am searching for an original wood stock for a WW1 Winchester 1897 trench shotgun. There should be no military markings, only the sling swivel and hopefully the buttplate. I have a WW2 Winchester 1897 trench shotgun with the WB & crossed cannons stamped on the left side. I do not have the stock in my possession yet, it will be arriving on the WW1 gun that I just purchased...probably in a week. I can give a description at that time. I will outright purchase the WW1 stock, or trade the WW2 stock for it.
