KThese two 1903 Springfield rifle scabbards were made in 1943 and are so stamped. Both are in fine shape and there are no damaged areas or torn threads or torn leather. Both are sound. All straps and hardware are original and in Excellent condition. These rifle scabbards can be used. One of the scabbards has been treated with PECARD Antique Leather Dressing and the other has not. The scabbard that has not has remnants of an old waxy/powdery type leather treatment on the leather that appears white in the photos. The leather is sound underneath.
I've shown a 1903 Springfield in one of the scabbards to show what they look like holding a rifle. The rifle is Not for sale.

Mount a scabbard on your open top Jeep or your motorcycle to carry your rifle with you for quick access.
They ain't making these anymore fellas. These U.S. Cavalry scabbards are sound and complete. Get them so that you don't have to be left wishing you had.

$260.00 will buy them Both. These scabbards are sturdy and intact.

Postal Money Order for payment please.

Packaging/Shipping will be extra. A shipping box and Styrofoam peanuts for packing will cost $25.00 and shipping ought to be around $25.00. If it is more, I'll cover it. So $50.00 for packaging and shipping.

I got bored and so went ahead and treated the Other Saddle Scabbard as well. It sure turned out well as I knew it would. First, here is the first scabbard...

I've not been contacted by anyone yet, so the two Rifle Scabbards are still for sale at this time.

This scabbard is now the only one still for sale. It's $130.00
This scabbard is made of thicker harness leather than the other one that I am keeping. It's a really good rifle scabbard.

Packaging/Shipping will be extra. A shipping box and Styrofoam peanuts for packing will cost $25.00 and shipping ought to be around $25.00. If it is more, I'll cover it. So $50.00 for packaging and shipping.
