When I purchased this loose 1903 Springfield Bolt, it came with a WW2 Remington shroud, safety, and striker-assembly attached.
Is it a Remington bolt or (as I now suspect) a 'refurbished' Rock Island bolt?

I think there is a lightly struck number to the right of the R , making it a Rock Island.

Thank you gentlemen for your replies. Is it likely this bolt would be a double heat-treat?

The bolt appears to be a WWI Rock Island bolt that exhibits a WWII USMC gas escape hole enlargement. Only the Rock Island R 5 bolts were double heat treated and the spurious marking beside the "R" does not appear to be a "5".
