Since I sold my 9mm pistol I have a couple hundred 9mm .356 125 grain bullets. I have a 380acp pistol and wondering if it is possible to load the 9mm bullets in the 380. Of course the 9mm bullets weigh 125 gr. vs the 380 bullets at 95 gr. I find no info on reloading the 125 gr. in my 380 manuals. Dangerous? Maybe forget the idea?

IF it's a lead bullet then it can be loaded but if it's jacketed then I would say forget it and trade your 9mm bullets for some that will work in a .380. I do have so data for lead.

I guess you could load it but I'd be concerned about recoil beating up the firearm or causing breakage. IMHO I wouldn't do it.

The 125 gr bullet seated to proper depth will take up excessive volume in the short 380 case. Powder charge will be low. It would need to be low too to keep pressures safe. I think ballistics would be very anemic. If you can't find published data I wouldn't do it.

Thank you all for your quick replies.
My decision: forget about it!
