I had emailed him about 6 months ago about his backlog and he said he was running about a 2 yr wait. He's not a young guy these days so I was reluctant to pay in advance on something even though his slings are top quality.

A gentleman I know that has been leatherworking for years, decided to try his hand at 1097 slings. He learned all he knows from discussions with Les and sent me one heck of a nice, thick, stiff sling.

Don't forget Ron Brown Service rifle slings. Les Tam supposedly helped him get in the business. I have one of his slings and it appears to be top quality. He will customize it with service emblem and name or whatever.
