View Full Version : Inland I Cut Stock and Checkered Safety Question
Is is safe to say that an Inland produced in March or April of '43 could just as easily have an I-cut stock as an oval cut stock? Or were the oval cuts more common by this time? Same question for checkered safeties. Was it as likely to be checkered as smooth around that time, or had the checkered variety pretty well disappeared by then?
The safety would have been changed by about the 250,000 serial number and the type 2 stock came about around the 400,000 range of serial numbers. By March 1943, Inland was already past the 250,000 range.
