SOLD PENDING FUNDS!
About four years ago, the CMP announced that they had assembled a small number of 6 million range M1 receivers into rifles. They had most correct parts and a CMP marked aftermarket rifle stock. I bought one at the time. It has receiver very little use – maybe two boxes of cartridges run through under range conditions. Not crazy to dispose of it but have another rifle in the wings.
Serial number is 6,083,976; Barrel is an earlier NM March, 1952; bolt and most other parts are as-received from the CMP and are post-WWII. MW is a 1; TW is a 3 (as you can see in one of the pictures). Stock has been lightly oiled (and wiped) with BLO. Rifle is in excellent condition and a 6 million range receiver rarely comes up in ANY condition.
Price is $900 plus shipping and handling to your FFL or C&R address. Insurance is strongly recommended but is also extra.
Pictures and a link are below. Additional questions can be sent to rrsbls[at]msn.com or PM via this forum.
