Nice honest example of a WW II 1911A1 .45. No import marks or rebuild stamps. I believe original finish. There is a discoloration (old surface rust) near the muzzle(see photo as I took a closeup of the area) Not bad but it is there.
I took lots of photos. Barrel is a "SP" USGI WW II barrel. Bore is above average with some frosting. SN puts this one as a late 1944 vintage that has been there and done that. Included is a "S" marked Scovill WWII magazine in original blue finish.
