This must be the warning you referenced in a reply to my post (4-7-20) concerning the Ithaca WWII M37 training shotgun.
Still good advice. Glad I found it here in the older posts.

Maybe my shotgun was one of those re-barreled by Ed Thompson's boy's at Ithaca. What a dreamer I am!
Anyway, This is Good Stuff.

Yes, that is the post.
No there is no way to know who did the work.
What you have is a shooter not a collector, so just enjoy it as such.
