Mike Seybold wrote a PM asking if I wanted to sell my M1905 sight with the volley notch in the ladder.

Unfortunately I tried to email you address and got a kick back as un-deliverable.

I looked at my 1903's sight and it's NOT the original pre-ww2 M1905 with the volley sight notch

Saying that, and being a nice person. I did a fast check. Sarco's estore's page for springfields shows the older sight (Pt No. SPF04) as being one with the volley sight notch on the ladder. BUT it might just be a generic photo, I'd call and ask them to check especially for one in their parts bin.

Numrich has both the complete sight and just the ladder with the notch for sale. But again, I'd check with the parts puller.
Rear Sight Leaf ( Pt no SKU 517530) for $5.45. The pic shows the notch on just the sight leaf.

www.ssfirearms.com shows the M1905 Ladder with the volley notch ( Pt no 035146) for $10. And complete WW1 M1905 sight with volley notch ( Pt no 03S155) $60, and the WW2 M1905 rear sight with volley notch ( Pt no 03S156) for $60.

Hope this helps
