Since I posted pics of my. N.Z. marked 1903 I thought I'd post pics of my nicer Long Branch No 4 Mk 1*. This gun is a 15L 1942 gun and appears to have led a charmed life as it is all numbers matching and pristine in and out. I've never shot this rifle and have no plans to. Enjoy the pics.39054

I've got plenty of refurbs to shoot. My favorite No. 4 is a 42 BSA reworked in the 50's. My favorite No. 1 is Lithgow 43 reworked in 45, but those sights are starting to be more of challenge as I approach the merry old age of 48.

Since this one still has its original barrel and is all matching I figure it will be my safe queen.
