View Full Version : Spring is just around the corner.
Looking forward to Spring this year.
Plenty of ammo loaded for the different categories and rifles are cleaned and ready to go.
150 yd target stantion just makes me want to pull a trigger.

Rushing the season today, I went out on my range for a "short" time with my .308 M1. I know what the guys that talked about brass monkeys ment. Temp 20 deg with light breeze. Eyes were watering. Ain't no tough left in this old bird.
Can't wait for 50+.

one nice thing about getting old is that the seasons go by real fast. nice target setup, is that your own private range?

Yep. Less than a hundred feet out the door to my shooing position. It's only 200yards, but that's about as far as I want to walk to change targets anyway.

Time to move. You aren't going to do it any younger.
Been out playing the last couple of days. First with my 03 and then with the 03A4 repro.

Just passing the time until Spring here, too.

We are planning to move in a year or so, and something just occurred to me. It will be a lot easier if I just LOAD m components, rather than crating them, and hauling them all separately.
So, as soon as my garage recovers from its current "sort out the toolboxes" project, I will start some reloading marathons.

It's all good Tommy.
I use so many different loads for different purposes I couldn't do that.
Just looked at the shelf in my office and I see 7 different loads for the .308, a couple hundred rounds of each at least.
