Very nice. The predecessor to the K-22 then to the Model 17 I believe.

Finally got to my FFL's and looked it over before the 10 days started.
It is in great shape, with a small patch of corrosion on the barrel (looks like a fingerprint). The grips are in extremely nice shape and I had to check---serial number is stamped on the inside, so they are original.

Looks like you Glommed on to a 1937 K22 Outdoorsman. Did you get a box and tools? The SAT for that revolver is worth a $1,000. Big Larry

SAT, commonly called a screwdriver. It is a sight adjustment tool, hence the SAT. The SAT for this revolver is quite scarce and may bring near $1,000. The boxes are scarce too and may bring near $500 for a real nice one. It also came with a cleaning rod, a brush on a twisted wire and paper work. Almost always these are missing when the gun is sold. Most also have the stainless front sight bead known as the Brilliant Call Bead. What did you have to give for it? Without box, papers, and SAT, may be worth over $1,000. It looks like a nice one. Mine is # 662400 and was shipped 6-11-1937. Yours is close. Very nice
Is this what you are talking about? These are the oldest I've seen. The later ones had fluted aluminum handles. If so, one seller wants $900, the other wants $99 and has 2 of them.

You may have to log on to GunBroker (twice) to view these. Their website is pretty screwed up now with all the "upgrades" and "improvements" that they have made.
