PRICE REDUCED WTS Nice M1 Garand rifle. Possible restoration project or leave it as it is. It's miss war Winchester Garand, June 1944 from the serial. It looks to have been updated just after WWII. Receiver and barrel are both original Winchester. Barrel has been recrowned, which was common in that period. Bolt is Winchester, as is trigger guard and trigger housing. The only non-Winchester parts I see are the hammer and op-rod which are both SA. The rear sight is the E1 type. Im not sure about the rest.
Barrel TE is a 4.5. M2 bullet test shows a good 1/4 inch.
I had planned to restore it but do not have time. Daughter is expecting twins and my list of honey doo's has grown greatly.
I can do $1400 shipped to the lower 48.
Three day non firing inspection with return if the rifle is not as shown in the photos.
