I used to own several 03A3 rifles I got thru DCM. I still have the paper work on two of them. I am willing to send these to anyone who may own these rifles now. All that is required is that you send me a picture of rifles with serial number.
Rem 03A3, 3,919,796. dated Feb. 61.
Smith-Corona 3,698,788.
pm me to make arrangements.

My RA A3 rifle is 4 million range.. and the barrel date is 43, It's been rearsenaled, due to the green park job. Is it possible the re barreled it with an early dated barrel?

What's the "month" date on the barrel?

They made a lot of 9-43 barrels - there is a chance the barrel might be original.

why in the world would you get rid of them and not include the paper work?

It was back in the day when no one really was into collecting them (1960's). I probably sold them for 30 bucks or so, may have traded them at a local gun shop for something else. No one cared about any papers back then, they were just shooters. If they never left the state they are still in Ill. somewhere. Same goes with the Rem.-Rand 1911 DCM pistol I listed in that forum. I knew it was a long shot but thought I'd ask anyway!

I think very nice of you to do that. And cool to preserve the history.

I have kept most of the receipts and records of guns I have purchased over the years, even after I sold/traded them off. I do have my 'record sheet' so really do not need the DCM papers anymore. I also have a 1911A1 paper list in that forum. Thanks.
