M12 Trench Gun with parkerized heat shield , Is it one of the Ithaca shields?

Just curious if this rough parkerized heat shield
Was a proper one, re-parked or could it possibly be
One of those replacement Ithaca repair
Units.
Most I have seen were blued or the green color

This should be better, been raining all day .

Looks real, was refinished since they were all blued except for the very few last ones that went onto original parked guns.
