Have a chance to buy Miltech Johnson. Value?

Not worth whatever Miltech's rebuilders think they're worth(neither is anything else they sell though.). There's what appears to be a real one(stock's been refinished) on Gunbroker with a starting bid of $3500 and no bids at all. Auction ends on 21 May.

While Miltech's firearms look very nice having been refinished and all, I think them doing that destroys the collectability of the firearm. If I wanted an original Johnson rifle I would pay the price.

Nice, original Johnson rifles, especially if they have the proper bayonet and sling usually
will cost in the $4-5K range at auction. I'm talking one with 95% original finish and
unblemished wood.
