Beretta Olympia Rifle

An old post on the Rimfire Central web site stated that a 10 round magazine for the Weatherby XXII made in Italy could be altered by filing down" something" that would allow the magazine to be useable in the Beretta Olympia .22 caliber rifle. No pictures were shown and the description was not given with any details.

If anyone has done this alteration, and can describe in detail how to do it give me the details. I would like an extra magazine for the Olympia.

I don't know what the "something" is, but would hazard to guess it may be where the latch retains it. If you had one of each magazine to compare side by side you should be able to see what the difference is.
