I'm looking to sell two items to fund other pursuits:

1) Remington Rand M1911A1

http://i607.photobucket.com/albums/tt159/mkcp40/IMG_5954_zpsrmyrogkm.jpg (http://s607.photobucket.com/user/mkcp40/media/IMG_5954_zpsrmyrogkm.jpg.html)

http://i607.photobucket.com/albums/tt159/mkcp40/IMG_5951_zpsersvyvnf.jpg (http://s607.photobucket.com/user/mkcp40/media/IMG_5951_zpsersvyvnf.jpg.html)

From what I can tell, it is correct with the exception of the grips.

The serial number shows that the frame has not been reparked. The wear matches across the slide/frame.

Only real downside is the bore corrosion, but I've since cleaned and shot the 1911 with no issues. Comes with WWII magazine pouch, Little magazine, and modern USGI CMI magazine.

Looking for $1570 shipped via UPS within CONUS.

2)SA 6.09 million M1 rifle

This is a CMP rifle that I handpicked at the South Store. From what I can tell, it is a mostly correct rifle that was pulled from the auction block.

Full disclosure: I changed the stock on the rifle. Everything looked great except for the replacement birch stock.

The rifle now wears a postwar SA 1/2 inch DAS stock that has some very interesting grain in the wrist/butt.

Here's a brief rundown of the other parts:

Trigger housing: 6528290-SA
Hammer: D5546008
Plunger: wingless
Barrel: SA 8 56, breech in the white
Op-rod: 6535382-SA
Bolt: 6528287-SA, Y01 heat lot
Windage knob: SA WH
Elevation knob: BS
Gas plug: BS

I believe everything is now correct for a 1956 M1 from the armory.

There are dings and dents on the stock and handguards but the appearance is still quite nice. The worst of it is the damage on the left side near the handguard clip which can be seen above. The stock looks unsanded as there are still rough marks from the factory and the cartouches are crisp.

If you would like more photos, please shoot me a PM with the areas requested.

I'm asking $1625 + shipping to your FFL. I hate to sell it so soon after making the roadtrip but the money is for another special rifle. The sling isn't included but it will come with the CMP certificate (name removed) and hang tags.

Thanks!
