Offered for sale is a very nice K98k rifle made by Steyr in 1941. It is a bolt only mismatch, and all of the other parts match including receiver, rear sight, rear sight leaf, both bands and rear band spring, stock external number and internal handguard, bayonet lug, both large action screws, magazine follower and buttplate. Just the bolt does not match. There are no import markings. It also has the original sight hood.
The stock is clearly marked with three WaA stamps on the right flat as shown, and an inspection mark in the grip. Best of all, the left stock disk is marked with a script N, for the Kreigsmarine Nordsee (North Sea) fleet. Bore is bright, the photos speak for themselves. Please feel free to ask any questions by email.
I purchased this rifle from the grandson of the veteran who brought it back from WWII, along with some US pistols.
Looking for $1150 shipped to the lower 48 to your FFL or C&R.
