I have one purchased years a go. #767005. The slide sides have been very lightly polished, the SA (in USA) are lite but still very readable. The whole gun has been blued, over the park (at least it is a dull blue. Has a beautiful pair of dark brown wood grips, not walnut, much prettier. Also have a pair of original brown plastic grips. The frame & slide have Brit proofs on them, appears to be crown over a entwined CP. I paid 300 for it knowing it was not original but condition is 98% and its very nice looking.
The age old question; what would this be worth to-day, estimates of course. WB inspected.

Percentage of finish is normally given to indicate amount of original finish. Since it has been lightly polished and blued takes it out of the 98% finish range. The original barrel would also have proof marks. Stocks/grips would be Coltwood narrow ring hollow back.

Barrel is proofed also, was just looking for a ball park value----I know the gun has no collector value but its a nice looking shooter! I would not shoot a 2-3000 original! No need to critique my post, I thought it was quite clear in meaning.

Took some pics but for some reason they came out very big instead of thumb nails. "File too big" and could no longer up load any pics, even in new post???

Without pics, since refinish 600-900.

that is high for this region, refinished would be in the 500-700 range, depending on how good or bad the buffing was before refinish
