I haven't owned an 06 rifle for quite some time now. Don't know if this is a good deal or not.
comes out to $700 per thousand.
I'm not connected to J&G sales, but I have bought ammo and a firearm from them. They were okay to deal with.,
you have to "know your prices"

The Danish 30-06 is good surplus ammo but it is over 50 years old. New commercial manufactured Boxer primed M2 Ball is available at .70 to .75 a round.
I purchased a few cases of the Danish years ago and it shot very well. It is Berdan primed so reloading is difficult. I saved two cases in M1 clips and two cases in 03 stripper clips to use when I might not be able to recover the brass.
The Danish ammo appears to be a little more accurate than the run of the mill surplus ammo.
i dont know that id pay that much for it, but the danish 06 is good stuff. im down to my last crate of ama91, and wish i had bought more back then.

70 cents/rd. would be a good price for a box of 20, but not for a case lot with unreloadable brass. Had hoped that Obummer's import ban on all the guns & ammo the S. Koreans have been wanting to sell US importers would quickly be rescinded (as the only thing required is an executive order, not legislation), but Twitter-brain is too incompetent to accomplish even that.
Why buy that old stuff when for the same price you can get brand new PPU made M2 ball ammo. Good stuff that is nice brass to reload.
Is the pressure curve the same as the GI ammo?
it is perfectly safe for the M1 rifle if thats what your asking.

Not only was the Danish great Ammo , but if you bought it by the case the wooden crate was actually a recycled US Military ammo crate prbably from the 50s.... possibly WWII
The Danes were thrifty and saw no reason to waste those crates from US supplied ammo and so repainted them.
