Interesting stuff. Thanks for posting it. Many people think Norway was an easy conquest for Germany - not the case though, Norway put up a strong defense.

That was interesting. I knew about Little Norway because I grew up in downtown Toronto in the 50's and I even took flying lessons at the Island Airport but I had no idea that the Norwegian government had paid for the training. I had always assumed that the Norwegians were trained as part of the Commonwealth Air Training Plan and that Canada had paid for it.

The Royal Norwegian Air Service as part of the RAF and the Royal Norwegian Navy Air Service was trained as part of the BCATP. It got King out of enacting a draft.
