The only one's saying much is the "Blame the gun" group, never waste a chance to move closer to National Socialism!

I'm absolutely sick to hear of another...and so close to the Vegas tragedy! And these miserable non-human cowards almost always kill their rotten selves to escape justice and having to face the families of their victims!
Where the hell does these nuts keep coming from ?
The gates are open. We have no borders. There are millions here that aren't leaving. It can only get worse.

Yeah , it's getting to be one crazy world . Seems for certain something has to come to a head . Figure it won't be good , but then how could we expect anything good to come from these tragedies that seem to keep coming . Kind of leaves a fellow lost for ideas .

my own opinion is that we've been breeding momma's boys who cant deal with life for decades, so when they get knocked down in life they implode. sadly they have decided that taking others with them is the thing to do. everyone gets a trophy for showing up, ie there are no winners or losers, and so they never learn how to deal with success and failure.

Report is DD from AF, isn't this a disqualifier for a 4473?
Sam
to the best of my knowledge, yes it is.
Reports are that he wore assault gear all in black with a mask. Hmmm! What group does that? Oh yeah.....ANTIFA.

If the anti-gun clowns would push for a mental health system in this country, we might make some progress. For all intents and purposes, we have no system for dealing with the mentally ill.

It's something like that for sure; popular American culture--which can be summarized as "if it feels good, do it"--is rotten to the core.

Evil is among us and it seems to be open season on Christians in America.

Evil as always been around us and we use to have defenses against it. At an early age I had a wonderful teacher who read each morning fantastic Bible stories about good and honesty, looking out for each other and being kind. That was taken out and no morality is now taught and you are condemned if you try to restart. My religion [Southern Baptist] teaches, "DO UNTO OTHER'S AS YOU WANT THEM TO DO TO YOU." What is the harm in teaching this concept in school? Society now allows and encourages the concept of hedonism and expect good results to come from that. To all hear, sell your garment and buy a sword, go against those who live by the sword. Scripture is as good now as it was centuries ago and evil won't go away until it is cast into the firry depths of hell for eternity, with those minions of Satan.

The vicious little cowards who commit such atrocities are merely looking for the easiest, most vulnerable targets: women, children, the elderly.

I think all the media attention spurs these killers to try and out do other killers. The mental health issue is valid. In my section of Iowa, years ago the State shut down mental hospitals due to the cost of running them. People were at a loss of what to do. Even the VA in Iowa City turned away a young veteran who sought help. He killed himself. But yet money is flooding in to keep millions of scumbags on welfare so that they can commit crimes.
Go back years ago. Who opened the doors to the sanitariums wide open? They decided if the person was not a danger to themselves or others then let them be free. These people needed help to start with but the then Democrats liberal agenda decided we can't keep them locked up. This way they can vote for us. Now since then in the 60's what has happened? The people who need help do not get it. They get worse and finally snapped and off they go. One mass murder after another. None of this happened before that time period. Oh and one could buy guns through the mail back then.

Without a doubt--it's their "60 seconds of fame." But how was this vermin, after having served a year for domestic assault, able to purchase his guns legally from a gun store? Even a restraining order without any conviction should have made it illegal for him to possess firearms.
And why, after serving a yr in federal prison, was he only given a Bad Conduct Discharge, rather than a Dishonorable Discharge? Same spineless military justice that was demonstrated in the Bergdhal case.

I heard on the news a few minutes ago that the individual had been prohibited from possessing a firearm, apparently due to his past history. As we all know, it is only the honest people who obey the law or other restrictions on their behavior. One interesting aspect of the case is that the authorities originally stated that an unidentified neighbor heard the shooting, took his own rifle to the scene and got into a gunfight with the perpetrator, causing him to drop his rifle and go to his vehicle. At that point it was unclear if he died from the neighbor's actions or from a self-inflicted wound. Kudos to the brave neighbor.
The neighbor and somebody else pursued them in their vehicle th n and the killer, who'd by then had been wounded, crashed his vehicle. That's when the law showed .up

According to latest reports, neighbor shot him 3 times, before he high-jacked a passing car; then "the brave neighbor" and another neighbor chased the high-jacked car until it crashed due to the killer dying or passing out from his previous wounds. Only then did the cops show up. Yes, as the "authorities" always tell us, never take the law into your own hands, call professional law enforcement!
Situation presents a serious dilemma for gun haters: how can they denounce gun ownership without admitting that gun ownership stopped this killer?

only thing we know for sure, is the cops are rarely there in time to help.

This probably all happened quickly , the 911 operator may have been bombarded with distress calls and by the time they sorted and ordered a dispatch and knew where to send it too , things where well under way . I am not an ass kisser of the police , but I do take into consideration of what they deal with and respond too .
Unless they happened to be there in the immediate vacintity of the attack , it would stand to reason they would likely arrive after the fact .
But this is just speculation on my part . Unless there is something to show they slacked , you would have to give them that I think .

No, not "being everywhere instantly, all the time," would be an unfair criticism, because, obviously, that's impossible. But virtually every professional police organization (with the exception of some sheriff's associations) opposes private gun ownership (or at the very least believes every gun & gun owner should be licensed & registered), especially for the purpose of self-defense, and tells the public, "call us if you see a threat, we're the professionals, never take matters into your own hands."
In many if not most of the states that require a permit for handgun ownership, the permit app always requires the applicant to state why he wants a handgun, and "self-defense" is NEVER considered a legit reason! (Because, don't you understand, that what the cops are for!) So the applicant must give as his reason target shooting or hunting!
a sad day indeed, he was a mad man and was allow to be part os society and that there is the problem.
