Where can I find details on Krags that were used in the National Matches prior to the use of 1903 Springfield's?

See if you can find a Townsend Whelen book, Days of the Krag. Thomas pencil point and round nose designs were made for match shooting the Krag rifle and later
on the early Model 1903 rifles. I have an original Thomas bullet which are difficult to find44857

I honestly don't know anything about the Krags, but the very first 1903 NM rifles were only hand selected and star guaged to make sure the barrel was uniform.

They put a star guage tag on the rifle, like a hangtag and that would be the only way to identify an early 1903 NM.

I suspect the Krag was probably very similar.
