Beetle was a hero!

They were great cartoons and aside from the physical violence aspect - I do not think sergeants routinely ever beat up privates that often in to US Army. The one I remember the best was when he did two versions of the same story contrasting the US version of Sarge and Beetle with a Russian version, which of course ended up with the American Beetle ending up getting his usual head bashing... The Russian Beetle was stood up against a wall!
