I remember when Sarco had for sale at $500.00 Springfield Armory rifle serial number 1000.
But nooo... I thought it was too expensive, and so didn't buy it. Duh...

"...at $500.00..." Kind of depends on how long ago. I could have had a working BAR for $500Cdn when I was about 19. $500, in either currency, isn't as much money as it used to be.
