Front sight cover question

I have a 1903/03A3 front sight cover that is marked with a stylized -S- inside of a circle, stamped on the left side. There are no other markings. Any information appreciated.

Your front sight cover was made by the Seaville Mfg. Co. located in the Springfield Ordnance District. Seaville was Smith-Corona's front sight cover subcontractor.
