Next 10 dot challenge rifle almost ready.

Almost finished up with my next rifle to compete in the 10 dot challenge.

All Bula Defense Systems XM21 version #1 receiver and parts using their new Ultra Heavy Barrel. This is set in a JAE Gen III chassis with Atlas bipod and Accu-point mono pod. Topped off with a HI-LUX Optics 6-30X56-R Scope held in place with ARMS 22 quick detach rings.Combined weight with 18 rnds in mag is 19.71 LBs.
Ammo used for practice today is thrice loaded DAG berdan primed brass with Tula berdan primers over 45 gr of Varget pushing a 136gr FB bullet. This bullet is the NEZ secret projectile talked about last year and special ordered. 10 rnd group shot at 100 yds into 0.7345 ". Temp 84 deg f, humidity high. Someday I am going to try this off a concrete bench and see if my groups tighten up a bit.

Another photo of the group with out caliper just so I don't get accued of covering up fliers. 2 clicks to the right and she should be ready for the 10 dot.

Not sure how much more you can tighten up the groups! Great stuff, thanks for posting.

Congratulations on shooting 10-rd. groups! (you must be “old-school”, like me.)
Never understood why today’s shooters use three or five-shot groups as a “threshold” for accuracy.

I know, but I sure like trying. This was shot all from the mag with 10 rnds loaded.
I have a little polishing to do on the trigger and that's about it.

Yea and they shoot a 3 or 5 shot group with 20 pasters on a target to boot.

Because you can get better group sizes and bragging rights with 5, but 10 is a better test.

Nice Rifle that is a nice group

Ok, the rifle I built especially for this Challenge is working properly. Max spread .75" average less than .30" for 10 rnds. I am a happy camper.
Score 10-10. I am not competing. Just honing my skills.
Rifle used:
All Bula XM21 version 1 Ser# 3. with Bula barrel.
JAE Gen III chassis.
Scope is a cheapo Hi Lux Dominator XR 6-30x56mm from Sportman's Guide.
ARMS #22 lever quick detach rings.

Ammo is DAG berdan brass with Tula berdan primers.\
136 gr flat based bullet.
45 gr of Varget.

Shot from a loaded magazine, not single loaded this time. Off Atlas bipod and accushot monopod on the back. resting on my portable 3 legged table.
