View Full Version : COWAN's Gun Auction
Anybody here get one of the M1903 rifles in todays auction?
Probably two of the rarest M1903 rifles in existence. One of them belonged to Bill Brophy.

Here’s a link to the entire catalog that was auctioned on 9/12 showing both estimated values and actual winning bids, the percussion and metallic cartridge firearms start on page 7, Lot 330 came from the Brophy collection,

Yes...lot 330 is probably an original M1903 still chambered for the 30'03 cartridge. I bid $5,000.00 but got left in the dust. I bid $3,500.00 on lot 327 ( probably unique ), but chickened out.
