I have seen recently a number of gents working up accuracy powder charges and thought I would add one of my procedures for getting my SD into the single digits and still using an autocharger.
This would be used for precision loading to get the most out of your gear.

I set the auto drop to a couple of .1s short of my destination load then hand trickle until the digit just stabilizes on the desired charge. This way I know my loads are consistent to within a kernel or two and my SD, if all else is equal, will be in the single digits.

Works wonders over generic loading.
Just ran a couple hundred 6.5 Creedmoor using Lapua brass, 205M primers and 35gr of Varget pushing a 140 gr Berger Hybrid Target bullet.

used that same method years ago when loading for Garand Matches,

I put the wife on the machine (I have the first generation RCBS one,, with the separate scale) while I loaded the 556 for the Service rifle match (shot both in one day for a few seasons, )

tiring, but usually done, since it was a short course (500 agg) and only 100 yrds, by 2pm,

the RCBS I have is agonizingly slow, I understand the newer units are much faster

I load one at a time. By the time I seat a bullet, the next load is ready to top off with this setup.

for the 30.06, I have an old Videcki seater, and use that on my Co-Ax ,

I would have her load the powder, and I would follow up and seat,

the 5.56, I will run thru the dillon for plinking type stuff, the match ammo runs thru the Co-Ax, and a Forster/CH benchrest seater,

I use ball powder, and a Redding or Forster bench rest type powder drop, it is very consistant

I reload for x ring groups, but being a sport of body support, not bench, hope for a 10 ring hold, on a good day,
