My remote host (Fototime) keeps coming up as "file too large."

What's the gig? Works fine elsewhere.

However, it looks like it depends on what membership you have. Their "Basic Membership" is limited to 500 meg of storage. A 'free' membership expires after a year. "Elsewhere" will have their own rules.
Best you go here.

I still have a pile of pictures on photobucket, but will not load another and have taken some time to pull a few and store in the laptop,

been thinking about using imgur

anyone have any likes or dislikes?

No I have all bells and whistles. I have stored images there for years and have expanded my capacity of the account 3X. There is a compatability issue between this site and fototime.

Do you post pictures a lot, and prefer to maintain a free account?

posted them on photobucket so I could send links to others to view them, and the occasional forum that I could only hotlink pics in, (vs download from tapatalk or laptop file)

I have thought about a google drive, but when I have had issues accessing it from different devices and forums,

All you need to do is resize the photos. My "original size" pics are too large for most posting on the web, whether auction sights, discussion forums, or even emails. I use postimage.com and when I upload photos for use on the web it will resize them to what ever size I choose.

Resizing is important. It's basic. I use Postimage as well. I don't like Imgur, it's too "social media" for me.

Thanks. This is a paid account. It is perfectly compatible with any number of other sites. Since the site here doesn't host the image, I don't understand the issue. Might resize a few next time.
