1888 RB Trapdoor

I just received my 1888 Trapdoor from Al Frasca and I am very happy. A model that was missing from my collection. It was manufactured in 1891. It goes very nicely with the 1897 manufactured 1896 Krag. Amazing how much the technology changed in a few short years.

Looks nice! I have a 91 and 93 RRB. Been looking forever for a new stock for my 93. It's a nice stock but it had been sanded at some point and only a faint cartouche left. When posted on E bay they are usually 91 and 92.

Yes, that is a nice one. Not so much a change in technology as we were behind the times.
