replacement slide bar on a Winchester 1897

Has anyone ever seen a replacement slide bar on a Winchester trench?
Serial number is 677,000 range. It's not a refinished gun and all the other parts are genuine.
The wear marks are consistent through out the gun

The slides were marked "Model 1897" until just after WWI. Then they marked them "Model 97". And they stopped marking them altogether right before WW2. An 1897 in the 677,000 range would have left the factory with the first type "Model 1897" marked slide bar. So yes, it's been replaced.
