We are having way to much fun.
Took my retired 10 dot rifle out yesterday for a spin. LRB M25 with Kreiger heavy ss. Still shoots, but not as nice as the Bula XM21 UHBAR that replaced it. Shot to the left was the first shot. I was taking up the 1st stage on the trigger and got a surprise. Other 9 were within an inch at 100 yds.

Sure have. My record of 14 in a row stands on the M14 forum since Art Luppino got it started there in 2015. With a bum left arm, the 10 dot prone is right up my alley. Rifle above is the one I used until last year when I built one specifically for the 10 dot and precision. I run the 10 dot challenge on the M14 forum now as a supervisor only, no more competing for obvious reasons. Haven't shot less than a clean in 4 years. New rifle built specifically for the 10 dot challenge and precision was completed last year and is easily a .5 moa shooter. Photo below.
Current project is one in 6.5 Creedmoor and I expect to have it completed near the end of May. That one too should be better than .5 moa.

This is a 100 yd 5 rnd group I shot a few days ago while working up a ladder for 150 gr Bergers and 4064. 40.5 worked out well. 3/8" 5 rnd group.

I try as often as I can. Usually 4 or 5 times a week when the weather is decent. Helps to have a 300 yd range just out my door.

kidding of course,
my club is an hour and 15 from the house,

however, I found out the neighbors cannot hear Colibri thru a target rifle, so I may start some smallbore in the summer,, when the leaves fill out the trees (I have a bit over 3 acres with 22 acres and a State Park behind me, and a solid backstop)

Finding a place that I could have a range was a requirement when I left the Marine Corps. Took awhile , but we have been here for 0ver 40 years now. I own just under 10 acres that is pretty much surrounded by closes state forest. Back drop for my targets is a 200' high hill with almost vertical face. This is an old photo but the mountain hasn't moved much. Range is 50' out to 150yds from this spot. I can back up to 300yds but rairly use that.

my road dead ends at the state park, however we are in the Piedmont area of VA, meaning flat to just rolling hills, and not much roll in my area,
my safe backstop is a tree stump that fell over years ago during a hurricane,
tree is gon, but the mound of dirt (red/orange clay) has not eroded down much,
plenty thick to stop a 22, would not try anything hotter, (and could not get away with if I wanted to

just too darn busy on my days off (work in the gun business, and have a shop also on the side) to get up to the range,
