Just curious, when did the FJA stamp first start appearing on Remington 03's.

Thank you Sir. So would the last of the RLB cartouche's be the unboxed close letter or the spread letter.

Thank you. When were the "spread letter" RLB's used?

Thank you. When were the "spread letter" RLB's used?

Between the boxed RLB and the unboxed close-letter RLB, with some overlap.

Was there a brief reappearance of the unboxed RLB after FJA appeared?

Not that I am aware of, and I have examined dozens. And I certainly would not expect to find any.

John
To keep me from bugging you, would you mind running through the inspector stamps, dates of changes and approximate serial numbers when the changes occurred on the Remington 1903’s?
Thank You!

Some data I am unable to post publicly. And that would be some of them. I solicit your understanding. If you want to send me a PM, I'll see what I can dig up.
