For sale: Correct 1903 SN 48224x, ca 1911 in excellent original condition. 4-11 bright, crisp bbl with muzzle of 0.5 (new!) and throat of about 1.8. Exceptional untouched single lug FG stock with strong JFC cartouche, nice script firing proof and subassembly stamps. Stock and hand guard are crisp, untouched and completely original with a lovely patina, rack mark "19" and a few minor dings near toe.
Correct J1 bolt. 90% slightly faded blue on action, bolt and rear sight and base. All lettering crisp and clear. 30-35% bright blue on triggerguard and floor plate with remaining turning to patina. Fine checkered BP w/dull blue to silvered patina. Lower band with traces of bright blue turning to brown/grey patina; band spring 80-90% blue turning to brown patina. Upper band, exposed bbl swivels and bases show about 70% blue just starting to dull. Band and base screws original and undamaged. Correct sight cover. Unmarked WW1 vintage M1907 sling with correct keepers in sound, serviceable condition.
