Very interesting. Nicest SKS I ever saw was a Norinco, all forged, that my son was keeping for a buddy in the Army.

Interesting, I knew these existed but never saw one personally. The ChiCom Type 85 and type 68 (selective fire) I believe were stamped receiver, at least some of them.
