This cartridge was developed by Griffin & Howe during the early 1930's and was chambered
in their custom rifles. Also known as the 350 H&H magnum, it is based on the necked down
375 H&H to use .357 diameter bullets.
It was also factory loaded by Western Cartridge Company and they made the
cartridges with the 350 G&H headstamp too.
The 220 gr SP loading had a velocity of 3120 fps
The 250 SP Western cartridge had a velocity of 2700 FPS
