Bula Defense Systems XM21 barreled action from John 4570 govt. I think she will be a shooter once things come together. XM21 with Bula med weight NM 22" barrel and bolt with Bula parts added including trigger group, gas cylinder, stamped spring guide, SEI vortex and Hawk's kit. Stock is a presentation grade walnut from Fred's. Scope is Leupold MK 4 3.5 - 10. Ran 50 rnds of MEN 94 and 20 rnds of handloads without a single burp. Target is 10 rnds of 136 gr fb at 100 yds with range flags moving from 3 oclock 10 to 90 degs. I'll be happy with 2" horizontal and 1" vertical for her first time on my range. Will be adding unitized gas cyl and NM type spring guide. That should help with the horizontal stringing on a calm day. Walnut hand guard did get warm, but no smoke.
