This one is an S-1A which threw me. I've seen many S-A1's. I guess when SA set up the dies it must have been Monday morning

RCS, thank you
This is the first one I've seen and have seen plenty of S-A1's. Do you have info as to what time frame these (S-1A) were used? This came on a rifle I bought a few months ago from a friend. The rifle itself MAY be a lend lease 721418. He had taken off the original parts and replaced them with newer ones and turned it into his "blaster". After I bought the rifle he gave me all of the parts, and stock, that he had removed
Difficult to pin point, SA serial number 883325 shows a rev 12 bolt heat S-11<>
most early rev 12 bolts are RE5B, W9B, RE6B, A9W. A8W, there are more !
People could and did change bolts
