LSB auctions in Simi Valley Ca. has up now a marine 1903 Springfield. 816205 and SRS report showing it was turned in April 1931 by Pvt. Harry E. Davis in exchange for rifle 833976 at Pearl Harbor Hi.If you have an interest in Marine rifles with a solid marine history you might want to look at it.

Sold for $1500 in 2006 at auction. It will probably earn a little more.

Tom Trevor thanks got it. Interesting rifle I have one with orders also from San Diego. I will not sell it that’s for sure. Like to see where it goes

Mark I stock. I think that's a parts rifle. As in, someone found an SRS hit and put a shiny rifle together. Certainly didn't look like that in '41, or 1955, for that matter.

stock has a bit of wood missing, guessing sanded hard, around the floor plate
