1884 rod bayonet converted to a model 1888. Just seen one for sale on old guns but felt it was priced rather high at 2150.00.
I paid 400.00 more for my 1880 triangular rod bayonet.

Am I correct kragrifle?
I didn't notice that both cartouhe marks have the same date.
